SYDNEY CBD: EL1 ASSISTANT DIRECTOR CLINICAL OPERATIONS

ABOUT THE ROLE:
As Assistant Director, you will oversee the provision of clinical services across the region, within a stepped-care model in collaboration with your Regional Leadership Team and reporting to the Regional Director. Duties include:
- Ensure the delivery of high quality, cutting edge mental health interventions including counselling, group programs, peer support and care coordination
- Line management such as recruitment, selection, induction, supervision, and performance management of clinical staff
- Actively contribute to Open Arms National projects, clinical policies and procedures, research initiatives and Quality Assurance activities
- Ensure all clinical work undertaken in the region is conducted in accordance with the governance requirements of Open Arms
- Qualified Psychologists with current AHPRA registration OR, Mental health Accredited Social Workers registered with AASW
- Extensive mental health clinical experience
- Relevant management experience
- Must have or be able to attain a Working with Children Check or Vulnerable Peoples Check
- $70 to $80 p/h + 9.5% superannuation, paid weekly
- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (37.5 hours / week)

Qualification
Bachelor of Psychology with full AHPRA or, Accredited Mental Health Social Worker.
