The Intensive Care Unit at the Mackay Base Hospital has multiple positions available for Registered Nurses to join their team on Permanent and/or Temporary Full and/or Part Time basis.

The Intensive Care Unit at the Mackay Base Hospital is the primary critical care service within the Mackay Hospital and Health Service. The critical care trained Medical, Nursing and Allied Health staff manages patients with life threatening or potentially life-threatening illness utilising specialist evidence based care.

Your role:

The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for delivering quality patient focused, evidenced based nursing care providing leadership, direction and support to other nursing staff and students and working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team in the Intensive Care Unit.
