The Role
In this part-time (2-days) role, based in Richmond. The caseload includes providing psychological assessments and interventions to individual outpatients presenting with orthopaedic, neurological conditions, chronic fatigue, persistent pain and general musculoskeletal problems. There is a strong focus on persistent pain. We value our staff and offer a range of clinical supports including supervision and professional development opportunities. You will be part of the Psychology Department and a member of the broader Epworth Rehabilitation team.
To be successful in this role…
You are a skilled and personable psychologist looking to complement a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. You will have skills in psychological assessment and intervention with patients experiencing a range of orthopaedic, neurological conditions, chronic fatigue, persistent pain and general musculoskeletal problems. You will need to be able to develop effective working relationships with clients, families, and colleagues and value a team-based approach. Effective written and oral communication is essential while experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred.
You will have:
- Masters or Doctoral Degree in Psychology (Clinical or Health Specialisation preferred)
- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Epworth Rehabilitation and Mental Health
Epworth Rehabilitation & Mental Health offer rehabilitation and mental health care programs to our patients in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, specialist clinics and community services. The services are provided across a number of clinical campuses throughout Melbourne including Epworth Richmond, Epworth Hawthorn, Epworth Brighton, Epworth Camberwell and our Transitional Living Centre (TLC) in Thornbury. In addition to our rehabilitation and mental health service, we also provide an elective surgical service from our Epworth Hawthorn campus.
With over 300 beds and a workforce of more than 950 staff, we use progressive, state of the art facilities and treatment programs that encourages individual treatment and collaborative team decision-making to achieve outstanding outcomes for patients.
