Family Worker Nyngan

 CatholicCare provides a broad range of innovative social services in response to the needs of communities in western NSW. We have an amazing opportunity available!

If you are a caring, enthusiastic and motivated individual, we need you to:

• Offer support, mentoring and parenting education to families with children aged 0 - 18 years.
• You will organise and run peer support groups, community events, provide case management and run one 2 hour playgroup per week.
• This offers a wonderful opportunity to work in partnership with local organisations, schools and the community to make a real difference to families.
• The position is part time, based in Nyngan and offers a maximum term contract to 18 June 2021, with a likely extension to the end of June 2023.
