The Medical Assessment Unit at Hornsby Ku ring gai Hospital is offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Registered Nurses with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team. The MAU is a 16 bed short stay unit which aims to provide an initial period of assessment where care can be referred to the speciality wards or discharged home. The MAU team focuses on a multidisciplinary approach to patient assessment.

The ward has a high patient turnover. The preferred candidate should have knowledge of cardiac monitoring/ telemetry and sound assessment skills and communication skills.
