What you'll be doing

The role will provide strong leadership and senior management to the St George Hospital (SGH) Redevelopment Team, key personnel from the Local Health District (LHD), SGH Hospital Executive and Health Infrastructure while overseeing the coordination of clinical engagement in the stage 3 redevelopment of SGH. The role has a specific focus for the delivery of clinical content during the planning and commissioning phases of each project to achieve optimum outcomes within specific timeframes for the clinical risk management of service disruptions and commissioning. This includes consultation with multidisciplinary teams, healthcare professionals and health services staff to ensure delivery of an integrated and effective service.
The Project Manager – Stage 3 Redevelopment will assume a leadership role providing expert advice on transitioning and commissioning, change management matters, strategies and solutions in relation to the SGH Stage 3 Redevelopment. They will achieve this through liaising with expert best practice sources, such as Health Infrastructure, the Agency for Clinical Innovation, the Clinical Excellence Commission, District and Facility Clinical Networks and Streams, and providing feedback and information to the LHD and the Project Governance structure.
The Project Manager – Stage 3 Redevelopment is required to apply new and existing State and local policies/practices to the facility redevelopment and to work with clinicians to develop and introduce processes, models of care and
systems to support the project. During the project, the Project Manager – Stage 3 Redevelopment is instrumental in contributing to the direction of assets and identification of resources required for future service delivery.

The Project Manager – Stage 3 Redevelopment will use initiative and self direction to manage the day-to-day requirements of the role, with a high degree of competency and enthusiasm.
