This position provides leadership to the paediatric team and supports the HOD role. The services provided include paediatric outpatients, school based models of care, partnerships with NGOs and inpatient services.

What you'll be doing
They will contribute to team leader departmental duties including leadership, clinical supervision, leading of quality improvement activities, supporting management in service development and other administrative responsibilities as required.

How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.
- Bachelor of Applied Science in Speech Pathology (or equivalent) with eligibility for full practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
- Advanced clinical knowledge and postgraduate experience and skills in paediatric speech pathology relevant to a community and tertiary hospital setting.
- Demonstrated leadership in the planning, implementation and evaluation of service delivery incorporating quality improvement process.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team as well as work independently.
- Demonstrated commitment to EBP and experience implementing EBP into service planning and evaluation of service changes.
- Demonstrated experience in providing clinical leadership, supervision and education for staff and/or students.
- Demonstrated high level of organisational and time management skills in an environment of competing clinical and administrative demands
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective internal and external partnerships
