Kurrajong Therapy Plus has an exciting opportunity for Speech Pathologists to work in our expanding multidisciplinary team. Location is negotiable and includes Wagga Wagga, Griffith and Tumut.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with children, adolescents and adults with disabilities and their families and carers.

The Opportunity

Kurrajong Therapy Plus consists of a unique multidisciplinary team of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants, Educators and Aides.

As a valued member of our Speech Pathology team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives by providing clinical therapy to clients who are experiencing learning, sensory, language, intellectual and cognitive difficulties.

Essential Criteria

  1. A relevant university qualification in Speech Pathology
  2. Current Class C Drivers Licence
  3. Working with Children Check clearance (or willing to obtain)
  4. Current member of Speech Pathology Australia
  5. National Police History Check for Aged/Children/Disabled/Vulnerable (conducted by Kurrajong)

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  1. Relevant experience as a Speech Pathologist
  2. Ability to prioritise, plan, anticipate risks and problem solve
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  4. Understanding of person centred and family centred practice
  5. Ability to think creatively and use initiative to work through issues
  6. Ability to implement Work Health and Safety, Risk Management and Quality Assurance requirements
