About the Facility and Unit

• 550 bed facility providing services across Cardiac, Neuro, burn, Paediatrics, Neonatal, and high risk OB, ED and Mental Health
• Modern centre that's recently completed major renovations - several in and outpatient associated Mental Health facilities with roles
• Opportunities to rotate within the hospital to other similar units and gain interesting experience
• The Mental health teams offer assessments, individual and family therapies, group programs, and consultations
• The collaborative team includes Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Occupational therapists, Registrar's, Social Worker's, Speech pathologists, and admin support

About You

• RN used to working in a team environment and ability to be adaptive
• Experience with severe mental health cases is essential
• Flexible with shift options - to be discussed upon interview
• 1+ years' experience working in a Mental Health Unit in an Australian regional or larger tertiary hospital
• Either having completed post grad studies in Mental health and or working towards completing a program
• Comfortable operating on a floor managed by a Nurse Unit Manager
