About the Company:

Stellar Recruitment are seeking an experienced receptionist/personal assistant to work at a medical practice on a 4-week contract. This role will see you deliver outstanding customer service and assistance to patients and provide support to a medical specialist. It is a role that requires an individual who can think on their feet, multi-task and successfully work autonomously.

About the Role:

This role requires an experienced medical receptionist with extensive knowledge of Genie Software. You will be required to work two days a week on Monday and Wednesday and be available to work from the 5th March 2021. This is an allrounder position from managing the front desk to PA duties for the practice specialist. You must be open-minded and willing to perform additional duties if required.


  • Greeting and attending to patients in a prompt and professional manner
  • Invoicing patients
  • Answering incoming calls and making outgoing calls
  • Booking appointments
  • Assisting medical professionals requests in a caring manner
  • Maintaining patient records
  • Act in a confidential manner by protecting patient information
  • Managing email inbox
  • General PA duties for the specialist

Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience in medical administration
  • Genie Software experience is a must.
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Be able to work autonomously.
  • Well presented & well spoken
  • Be able to multitask.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Be well organised and have the ability to delegate tasks
