About the Role
The Divisional Manager, together with the Mental Health Executive team, has delegated responsibility to ensure safe, efficient and effective operations of the Mental Health service.
The Divisional Manager, in partnership with the Mental Health Executive team will facilitate the Mental Health service operation in the following key performance areas:

  • Operational management
  • Clinical quality, safety and effectiveness
  • Human resource management
  • Work, health and safety
  • Professional development, education and research
  • Planning development
  • Performance and efficacy
  • Specific clinical programs as identified

Selection Criteria to be addressed:

  1. Tertiary qualifications in a health-related field (or equivalent practical experience) together with extensive experience and demonstrated high level of competence in the management and leadership of health services
  2. Demonstrated understanding of Mental Health funding models
  3. Demonstrated ability to create, interpret and analyse health related data and key performance indicators
  4. Experience in the management of health related finance
  5. High level communication skills including experience in reporting frameworks
  6. Demonstrated leadership skills
  7. Demonstrated understanding of principles of NSW Health service level agreement
  8. Able to participate in MH Executive on call roster
