Located in southern Brisbane within easy access to key motorways, Sunnybank Private Hospital is a 122-bed facility, which provides acute medical, surgical, maternity, rehabilitation and intensive care services.

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Quality and Risk Coordinator to join our team and help foster and support a culture that embraces quality and strives to continually improve patient outcomes in line with ACHS and the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality Health Care (ACSQHC) Standards.

About you:

  • You are a confident self-directed individual with knowledge and understanding of the importance of continuous improvement.
  • You have worked in a healthcare facility and have a solid understanding of the National Safety & Quality Healthcare Standards from the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Healthcare
  • You have experience with the management of customer feedback and how to turn the negative into a positive.
  • You have a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail including sound computer skills.

About the role:

  • Coordinate all aspects of hospital ACHS accreditation under the guidance of the Healthscope Quality Team and the Director of Nursing.
  • Manage patient feedback and complaints under the guidance of Hospital Executive.
  • Coordinate the completion of all required quality & risk audits in liaison with the department managers.
