Drug and Alcohol Clinical Services based in Tamworth, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Nurse to join their specialty service on a permanent full-time basis. This is a unique opportunity to work day shifts with weekends off, all whilst learning speciality nursing skills.

Hunter New England Drug and Alcohol Clinical Services is a district-wide speciality service providing evidence based care to people with substance use problems. The service comprises of medical specialists, allied health practitioners and a range of nursing positions at all levels of education and experience with the team based in Tamworth being part of a network of clinicians from the Peel, Tablelands and Mehi sectors. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide safe compassionate person-centred care within the service ensuring safe care is delivered in collaboration with patients, families, carers and the multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes.

Our successful candidate will ideally have experience working in Drug and Alcohol or Mental Health nursing however, for those who don’t have this experience, we will provide a fully supported and individualised training package including clinical placements in our Newcastle based services as well as support for postgraduate qualifications.
