Experienced Dental Assistant required to join our Practice in Blackwood. You will be joining a friendly team, passionate about the care they provide to patients.

We are seeking a caring and motivated Dental Assistant with a great work ethic to join our established practice 2-4 days per week.

The ideal candidate is looking for a long-term career in dental. We offer flexible working conditions with the ability to work some late nights, and Saturday Mornings.

The position is primarily dental assisting with some reception duties.

You will be responsible for:

• Clinical chair side assisting for a variety of dental procedures;
• Preparing treatment rooms for daily procedures including cleaning and changeover of instrumentation, maintaining appropriate supplies and ordering when required;
• Welcoming patients in a friendly manner, building relationships and updating patient chart each visit;
• Comply with the high standards of the Practice by way of Health and Safety, accuracy of information and ensuring confidentiality of patient records;
• Position is for part time.

The experienced person will have:

• Have prior experience working as a DA in a Dental Practice (preferred but not essential);
• An energetic approach to keep pace with our energetic Dentists;
• A passion for the dental industry and patient care;
• Relevant Dental Qualifications - min Cert 3 preferred but no essential;
• Possess high empathy and a patient centric approach;
• A flexible and a positive attitude to fit in with the Practice operations and team;
• Be able to handle pressure and multi-task; and
• A warm friendly personality and build relationships easily.
• Position is also open to candidates willing to undertake a Dental Assisting traineeship
