The Position

We are seeking a suitably qualified Registrar to join our professional team in the Emergency Department at Wimmera Health Care Group.This position involves participating in a 24/7 roster and supervision will be provided by senior ED clinicians including FACEMS. The successful applicant will be expected to take part in a teaching program and there is scope for projects and research.

Key Selection Criteria

Essential:

• MBBS or equivalent degree


• Full general registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)


• 
  

  A minimum of three years postgraduate experience of which a minimum of two years should be in Australian hospitals.

  
  


• Relevant clinical experience in an Emergency Department


• Experience in the supervision of junior medical officers (interns)


• Experience in rural Australian Emergency Department

Desirable:

• APLS


• ATLS


• ACLS
