About the Role

Monash Doctors Education (MDE) is seeking a proactive person who is highly professional and systems focused with excellent planning and attention to detail. MDE is primarily responsible for ensuring Monash Health provides excellent education and training for pre vocational doctors (interns and hospital medical officers (HMO) year 1-3 who are not in a specialist training pathway). In particular MDE coordinates the formal tutorial programs, provides pastoral support and oversees orientation, supervision, assessments and remediation for pre vocational doctors.

About You

Ideally, you have proven healthcare administration experience, with demonstrated ability to multi-task, contribute and implement improved administrative systems using a variety of technologies. Our ideal candidate will have experience in working with electronic document management systems, Excel, Workpress and Outlook at a minimum.

As a team player, you can readily work alongside a variety of professions, including administrators, doctors and other professionals

  • Competent Excel, Wordpress, Outlook and other technology experience;

  • Experience in contributing and implementing excellent administrative processes;

  • High standards in accuracy and attention to detail;

  • Works well independently and within a small team; and

  • Maintains focus and enthusiasm through both challenging and repetitive administrative tasks.

Position based at Clayton although travel will be required between all Monash Medical Centre sites at times.
