The Paramedical Aid provides high quality home based care to Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) clients, based on the philosophy of supporting individuals in their chosen environment.

The PCA will work with clients, their family, advocate or carer to form the basis of the Care plan.

The PCA will be empowered to utilise their expertise and professional judgement to design flexible and appropriate services to meet the client’s unique needs within the boundaries of CHSP guidelines.

Experience and knowledge in health and aged care and how that relates to the community setting while identifying needs and working closely with consumers/families and carers in a multidisciplinary team.

The Paramedical Aid will assist with case management of consumers by regularly monitoring care plans and undertake reassessment to maintain a flexible service provision through the development, understanding and maintenance of the impact of complex needs.
