Currently our Castra Residential Aged Care facility in Murgon is looking for Personal Carers to join the team on a casual basis.

Personal Carers provides assistance to our residents, including bathing, dressing, toileting and other support services depending on the individual residents needs. Engages with our residents to enrich their lives and support their needs, assisting residents who may require specialised care, including dementia care and palliative care.

Casual opportunities are available with a variety of shifts across a 14 day roster however evening shifts will be required. Salary packaging options to increase your take home pay

• Base hourly rate for SCCQ Personal Carers is between $22.29 - $24.41
• If the role is casual there is also a 25% casual loading
• Superannuation & shift allowances are payable when applicable
• The starting pay rate is determined based on qualifications, experience, and provision of substantiated Personal Carer hours from previous employers

What will you need:

• Cert III qualifications in Aged Care (or equivalent)
• Medication Assist Competency
• National Police check
• Ability to use computer systems to maintain care records
• Compassion for and understanding of the elderly
• Friendly approachable manner
• Experience working in an Aged Care Facility would be great but not essential
