About the role
Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our Catheterisation Laboratory (“Cath Lab”) team. This position is being offered on a full-time or part-time basis (hours negotiable).
As a Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab you will provide patient-centred nursing care in collaboration with other health professionals and significant others to ensure safe, efficient, and effective management of the patient within the Cath Lab.
Internal training opportunities are available.
Salary range: $36.14 - $46.45 per hour commensurate with experience. The appropriate salary will be dependent on the period of applicable prior experience.
About you
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team who take pride in providing the highest levels of patient care. You will be approachable with a mature and confident attitude, have the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
In order to be successful in this position, you will:
- Have registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
- Have prior nursing experience in an acute care setting;
- Have prior experience in a Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory (desirable);
- Have effective communication and interpersonal skills;
- Be an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident.
