About the Home
Walkerville Aged Care is located in the peaceful inner northern suburbs of Adelaide just 5km from the city centre. The home is built on the shores of the River Torrens and the Adelaide Linear Park with the convenience of Walkerville Shopping Centre only 2 minutes walk away or take the bus straight from our front doors.
Residents enjoy spacious single, twin and semi-private accommodation with private ensuites. All rooms look out to peaceful landscaped gardens or charming courtyards for that morning stroll or quiet time with a good book.
About the Opportunity
We are actively seeking experienced Personal Care Assistants with a Cert IV Medication Competency to join our team on a permanent part time basis.
If you have demonstrated aged care experience and a genuine passion for working with the elderly we have a variety of PM shifts available for you!
About You
The successful candidate must demonstrate the following:
- Certificate IV Medication Competency in Aged care
- Minimum 1 years experience in Aged Care
- Strong communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Caring attitude and ability to build strong rapport with residents
- Works well in a team environment and independently
- Professional presentation
- Sound computer skills
- Flexible availability to work a range of shifts
