Austin Health's Mental Health Division incorporates a number of specialities and services across community and bed-based services, with inpatient beds located on all three campuses. The Division provides catchment-based area mental health services, in addition to a number of regional and statewide specialty services.

HOPE - Administrative Officer

Hours per week: 30.4

Employment status: Permanent part time

An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Administrative Officer to join the Hospital Outreach Post-suicidal Engagement (HOPE) program. The HOPE program has initially been developed to target adult non-case managed consumers who have presented post suicide attempt and do not meet threshold for inpatient admission or case management. It retains significant scope for further model development and expansion depending on future community need.

The position is required to perform a comprehensive range of reception and related administrative duties across the HOPE service in an efficient and effective manner. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent interpersonal, telephone and written communication skills, along with advanced computer literacy and the ability to work independently or in a multidisciplinary team.
