Austin Health is the major provider of tertiary health services, health professional education and research across 3 campuses in the northeast of Melbourne and state-wide. Austin Health is world-renowned for its research and specialist work in cancer, liver transplantation, spinal cord injuries, neurology, endocrinology, mental health and rehabilitation.
Austin Health's Mental Health Division incorporates a number of specialities and services across community and bed-based services, with inpatient beds located on all three campuses. The Division provides catchment-based area mental health services, in addition to a number of regional and statewide specialty services.
HOPE - Senior Clinician
Hours per week: 40 with ADO (Full time), Part time considered
Flexible rostering arrangements including after hours and weekend work
Employment status: Permanent, Full or Part time
An exciting opportunity currently exists for enthusiastic and highly experienced Registered Nurses and Allied Health Clinicians to join our Hospital Outreach Post-suicidal Engagement (HOPE) program. HOPE clinicians provide tailored, holistic support to people post a suicide attempt with the aim of supporting the person and their carers and families to identify and build the protective factors that reduce the risk of suicide and/or repeated intentional self-harm.
