Austin Health's Mental Health Division incorporates a number of specialities and services across community and bed-based services, with inpatient beds located on all three campuses. The Division provides catchment-based area mental health services, in addition to a number of regional and statewide specialty services.
HOPE - Family Therapist
Hours per week: 15.2
Flexible rostering arrangements including after hours and weekend work

An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Registered Nurse or Allied Health Clinician to join our Hospital Outreach Post-suicidal Engagement (HOPE) program as a Family Therapist. The service provides tailored, holistic support to people post a suicide attempt with the aim of supporting the person and their carers and families to identify and build the protective factors that reduce the risk of suicide and/or repeated intentional self-harm. The HOPE Family Therapist is a specialist clinical role providing direct clinical interventions to families and providing support and leadership to other clinicians regarding working with families and consumers.
