A rare opportunity has arisen for an Orthodontist to join our highly reputable, busy and established practice in Tasmania.
This role encompasses working across three separate sites; Launceston, Burnie and Devonport and is an excellent career building opportunity with lucrative earning potential and a great lifestyle.
The Orthodontic Specialists offers the successful applicant full clinical freedom in a modern, relaxed and friendly environment. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and will be a motivated practitioner, looking to build their career in a friendly, team environment.
Although experience is highly desirable, this role is also a fantastic opportunity for a new graduate looking for mentoring and a supportive environment in which to build their skills and experience.
Tasmania is a short flight from Melbourne and just two hours flight from Sydney or Brisbane. Duties and Requirements:
- New Graduates & Experienced Orthodontists welcome to apply
- Completed an AHPRA registered general dental degree
- Specialist Registration with AHPRA to practice Orthodontics in Australia
- Possess current and valid professional indemnity insurance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Examine, diagnose, and treat abnormalities in development of jaws, position of teeth, and other dental-facial structures
- Analyse patient data to determine patient needs or treatment goals
- Adjust orthodontic appliances
- Provide patients with proposed treatment plans and cost estimates
- Coordinate orthodontic services with other dental and medical services
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan or provide treatment
