This is a Full-Time permanent appointment

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to be part of the Strategy and Policy team to provide professional and strategic management advice and support for the Department.

Reporting directly to the Manager Policy and Strategy you will provide strategic advice and input into the development and management of the Department’s Strategic Plan and Corporate Plan and you will lead the development of the Department’s Annual Report. In this position you will engage directly with the executive leadership and management teams to ensure the delivery of compliance and performance requirements for the Department and make recommendations for policy and procedural changes to ensure ongoing quality outcomes.

You will work with stakeholders to develop performance metrics and benchmarks for development by the team into visualisations for analysis to drive better-informed decision making. You will provide strategic advice and input into the development, implementation and monitoring of policies, procedures, guidelines and standards that support the functions of the Department, in accordance with the applicable legislation.
