In Gippsland we have new opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the busy team on either a full or part time basis.
Reporting to the Nursing Manager and working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team you will provide high quality, Intervention Radiology and recovery services to the clinic.

- Scrub/scout for complex diagnostic and radiology procedures, including monitoring sedated patients in our registered theatres.
- Assist the Radiologist for interventional procedures, including gaining informed consent and medical history assessment, monitoring baseline observations and recovering patients post procedure.
- Interventional Procedures Include: Insertion/Removal of Central Venous Access Devices, Angiograms +/- Embolisation, Biopsies, Lumbar Punctures, Drainages and Pain Management Injections.
- Working collaboratively with Radiologists, Nuclear Medicine Physicians, technical and administrative staff and managers
- Full AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
- Proven acute nursing experience
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and autonomously within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Well-developed time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work a flexible roster
- Advanced Life Support qualifications
- Previous Experience in Radiology/Surgical/Procedural Nursing
- Anaesthetic Experience
