Dubbo has two Mental Health Inpatient Units: a ten-bed adult acute unit and a ten-bed sub-acute step-up unit, both co-located at Dubbo Health Service.
Dubbo Community Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol services consists of multidisciplinary teams offering comprehensive support for adult services, older persons’ services, infant, child, youth and family services and counselling services.
Dubbo also operates an Opioid treatment facility.
Within the Dubbo region are the Wellington, Lightning Ridge and Bourke Community Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol Teams who provide outreach services to other rural and remote communities in the region.
