About The Role

Moree District Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide compassionate person centred care within the Acute Inpatient Unit, ensuring safe care is delivered in collaboration with patients, families, carers and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes. Orientation to the facility and Unit will be provided to the successful applicant by Clinical Nurse Educators upon commencement, with ongoing education opportunities also available.

Where You'll Be Working

The Acute Inpatient Unit at Moree is a busy 16 bed unit that provides care to Medical and Surgical patients.

Moree, in north-western NSW, is the most productive agricultural area in Australia. The combination of the rich black soil and the Mediterranean style climate make it is an ideal place to base yourself with both relaxation and adventure taken care of. The famous artesian spas are naturally heated to 41 degrees Celsius and a huge drawcard for locals and tourists alike. Access to all modern conveniences and services are available with this inland lifestyle including daily flights to Sydney. Two preschool, four primary schools and three high school options, alongside affordable housing options make moving to Moree an easy choice.

About You

You are a compassionate Registered Nurse with nursing experience and strong communication skills. You have demonstrated effective problem solving and time management skills and work well both independently and as a team member. Previous in charge experience will also be looked upon favourably.

An eligibility list will be created for future permanent full or part time and temporary full or part time vacancies.

To be eligible for employment in these roles you must be: an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or a citizen of another country with an appropriate visa that allows you to work in Australia.

If you currently hold a temporary visa that allows you to live and work in Australia you may only be offered employment in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
