Neurologist - Epilepsy and EEG reporting
Up to 0.2 EFT
Role could be split between two individuals
Weekly Epilepsy clinic (0.1 EFT)
EEG reporting - level 2 or 3 ANZAN accreditation (0.1EFT)

About the role
Eastern Health has a comprehensive Neurology service including a large Epilepsy clinic and EEG service. A neurologist with experience in the management of patients with epilepsy and training and experience in EEG reporting is required. The successful applicant(s) will be required to provide a weekly epilepsy clinic, share EEG reporting duties and will participate in the consultant Neurologist after hours on-call roster. The successful applicant will contribute to the EEG teaching program for Neurology trainees. Additionally there is an opportunity to participate in the Neurology inpatient roster on an expression of interest basis.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
Training and experience in the management of patients with epilepsy
Training and experience in EEG reporting with level 2 or 3 ANZAN accreditation
Experience teaching EEG reporting to neurology trainees
Current medical registration with AHPRA
Post Graduate qualifications in neurology
Highly developed interpersonal skills
A strong commitment to high quality care
The ability to work as part of a diverse team
Excellent communication and organisational skills
