Salary $90,269 to $100,483 pro-rata, per annum

  • Please note that access to the progression point of Year 5Q salary of $100,483 is subject to successful completion of a relevant Graduate Diploma.
Classification Allied Health Professional Level 3 Agreement Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2018 Period of Employment Permanent part-time day work, working 30.4 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible. Part time flexible working hours will be negotiated with the successful applicant. Location BreastScreen Clinical Services - 4/25 Argyle Street Hobart Duties Responsible for performing ultrasound examinations at BreastScreen assessment clinics. Perform novel or complex breast imaging procedures in ultrasound, to facilitate patient diagnosis and clinical management with limited supervision, to contemporary professional standards. Essential Requirements
  • Accredited as a Medical Sonographer with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer.   • Evidence of satisfactory completion of postgraduate qualifications in diagnostic ultrasound from a recognised tertiary institution.
