In this key role, you will be accountable for the provision of a range of clinical neuropsychology services to CALHN inpatients and outpatients, in order to achieve better health outcomes for patients and their families. You will respond to requests for neuropsychological assessments and interventions and initiate reviews where appropriate, administer and analyse neuropsychological tests and other relevant investigations, as well as make recommendations regarding the rehabilitation of patients with cognitive impairment. At the AHP3 level, you will work with a high level of autonomy, providing expert clinical neuropsychological services to complex patients as well as leadership and supervision to the RAH Neuropsychology team. You must hold an appropriate degree (Masters Degree or Clinical Doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology) or equivalent qualification as recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) and general registration with the PsyBA. With considerable experience in clinical neuropsychology assessment and provision of feedback to patients and their families, you will possess sound knowledge of the impact of brain impairment on individual, family and community functioning. You must be able to design, implement and evaluate neuropsychological assessments and interventions, together with the ability to apply specialist clinical neuropsychology skills in assessing and resolving clinical problems. For appointment at the AHP3 level, you must also be endorsed in Clinical Neuropsychology specialist area of practice and hold approved supervisor status with PsyBA at all levels of supervision.
