The Occupational Therapist is a baseline direct clinical care role for the delivery of rehabilitation programs and safe practice. It provides critical clinical services to consumers receiving care and treatment within psychosocial programs involving timely OT assessments, care coordination, individual and group psychosocial interventions. These clinical interventions are key components to consumers' rehabilitation treatment, which assist with care planning, relapse prevention and hospital avoidance. Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
